Categories Sidebox Customisation

Hello all (1st Timer).

I have spent the past few weeks setting up ZC (1.2.7) on my Gallery2 run site and managed to integrate them.

I have only two categories

1) Images
2) Gift Certificates

Due to the way the site works, I only want the gift certs to show up in the categories sidebox.

Can anyone give me some indications of how to go about this?

Thank you for your reply.

I had done a search before posting and found the responses including this one a bit too involved for what I want as many of them were for people that want to do complex stuff (to me anyway).

As I have hit a wall on this, I have decided to live with it as it is.
