ok folks - I've searched for the answer to this, but come up blank
I've given out 'offline' gift coupons for a set amount as an advertising gimmick to get folks to shop... however, now I can't figure out how to set them up as redeemable discounts in the shop.
I'm sure this is doable, but I can't for the life of me figure out how.
help!

You create your coupons in Admin->GiftCertificates/Coupons->Coupon Admin
If you don't have that option, turn on coupons via Admin->Modules->Order Total->Discount Coupons (ot_coupon).
