Country Dropdown

I installed the new version of Zencart 1.3.6 because I was told that the previous version had a bug that would not allow a country to be selected on the create account page. I am having the same exact problem with the new version. I select a country but it keeps telling me the following:


You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu.
* Required information

What can I do to fix this??

I have not seen this with a clean 1.3.6 install???

Was this an upgrade? Did you load an exitsting DB to it?
Or is this a full clean install?

I have a template from templatemonster installed. Could that be the problem if the template is based on an old version of zencart?

The zencart install was a new install into a new database.

I switched to the zencart template that cames with the cart and it worked fine so it must be a templatemonster template issue.??

I have no idea how to fix this and templatemonster takes like 4 days to answer questions. Bummer

Try switching to the classic template and see if it persists or goes away. TM templates are noted for trouble. Is this TM01?

I switched to classic and everything works fine.

The error on the page says:

Char: 3

Error: 'elements.zone_id' is null or not a object

Code: 0

It is referring to zen/index.php main_page=create_account

I opened up index.php and the only thing on line 22 is this */

Anyone have any idea what I should do?
