The PurpleShades template on http://(sorry, site offline) does not look the same as the latest version in the Zen Cart dowload section. One thing that is different is that on http://(sorry, site offline) when you list all products, the background colour changes between the products in the list.

Is it an old version or is this possible to change with some settings?

The one on the template site is the old version that is tablebased, I suspect the you have the later non table based version and this odd even effect was changed even in the new classic template.

Without actually doing this I believe that finding or adding 2 tags to the stylesheet with your desired styling will get you the odd even effect and these I think are:
.productListing-data-description-even
.productListing-data-description-odd

I now have an additional problem which you might be able to help with. I installed Stock by Attributes V4.4 and now the shop keeps "jumping" and sections fall out of their boxes. Any idea what I need to change?

Hi Kobra,

Have looked in internet explorer and in firefox. It is much better behaved in firefox. Scroll up and down the home page, and you'll see it start jumping. You should also see that the new products have fallen out of their box.

What else in the way of mods might you have installed?

no other mods installed. I tried to install a template from a commercial site but failed. It seemed to have no impact on the shop prior to installing purpleshades, and purpleshades was ok until I installed stock by attributes...

Which Stock-by-Attributes module did you install?

This should not affect the main page that I can think of
