Zone restrictions

Hello,
I have a client that is restricted to selling there product to companies in South Dakota. I have looked over the zones that are pre-built into zen cart, but I haven’t see anything that is definitively explanatory.

Basically I just need the system to look at there shipping zip code and determine which state they are purchasing from and then allow them or disallow them to continue with the purchase. If this is already a function of Zen cart could some one please clarify exactly how it works and if just setting a zone definition for south Dakota would be enough.

you could add a zone for:
South Dakota Shipping

Create this in the Zone Definitions ...

Hit Details ...

Set to United States ... South Dakota ...

Now you have a Zone limited to South Dakota ...

Add to your Shipping and Payment Modules and only South Dakota can complete an order ...
