Default How to have boxes in different position?

    Hey all.

I would like to have some of the modules (Like search, languages, etc..) appear in a horiz box, above the header..

    Something like:

    <box>Search - Language - Currencies</box>
    <header>Logo Text etc</header>
    <Menu Buttons></MenuButtons>

Actually, here's a template someone is selling that does what I describe:

    http://osc.template-help.com/zencart_12500/index.php

Can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

    Thanks
    David

A lot of what you want can be done with CSS styling and making pulling some some information from a couple of of the sideboxes.

The menu portion can also be styled using CSS and adding the links you want in tpl_header.php

Could you also add in the horiz menu like they have, by adding the code into tpl_header.php? I'm comfortable with php/html/css, just new to Zen Cart.

So whenever the page is called, tpl_header.php is called, outputting what we see? I'm guessing by pulling some information from a couple of the sideboxes, you mean making some function calls that are available? Thanks for the information, it's much appreciated.

    Thanks

The structure for the horizontal menu is already built into tpl_header.php you would only need to add your own links and style the CSS.

    Yes

Yes, the information in the sample page you provided is included in sideboxes in zen cart so you would have to look at/modify those boxes.

take a look at my TESTSITE, while not as complete as the heading portion of of the sample page you provided the header shows a little bit of what can be done.
