How do you know the date of the stylesheet? I looked at the page source (after rendering, of course) and don't see anything about a date for the stylesheet there.

FWIW, it always amazes me to see how much info folks can find out about the internal workings of a site to which there is no obvious entry. I think I need to learn more simply as a matter of self protection.

Okay, that helps! Now I see where you got the date. I'm going to have to look for some more toys now.

I typically use Firefox for development and have relied on viewing the source for info on the code but it doesn't help much with the stylesheets.

    Thanks again,

    Jim,

You did find the "css" icon in the nav bar and the "edit css" selection I am hoping??

You can use this more or less interactively and when you got it like you want you can save the the file that you have created through edits, locally. Then FTP it to your host and you will be happy.

Well, yes and no. I edited the stylesheet_css_boxes.css on my local machine and then ftp'd the modified file to my testing server. As I said, no luck.

At this time I've got several breaks in tpl_main_page.php that bring the line down into the green background in Firefox. Unfortunately, it also leaves a big gap between the header and breadcrumbs in IE6.

If you've put your customized template in custom folders (in the templates, languages, and languages/english directories per the FAQs you should be okay.

But be sure you make backups of everything, all your files and your databases, before upgrading.

Just noticed that you're using 1.2.4. This may present problems. I think the entire philosophy of ZenCart has changed since the version you have was published. Other smarter and wiser folks than I will have to address that issue.
