Can someone tell me how can zen cart be broken to design a template like template monster or is it best to buy from them.

you would definitely need to modify the code to re-organize the way things display on the page. the easy part would be modifying the stylesheet but everything else is a little more complex. you could always hire someone to do it but that would be a little more expensive.

Hello kim can you tell, what files would need changing to create a similar template like monster or the one on the front of the zen cart, the brown type template.

Template monster templates are hevily customized with functions - the overall look can be duplicated by someone who knows css but it will take a lot of work. All of the template monster templates I have seen still use a lot of tables and those are the first thing that I personally try to get rid of.
