Downloads and Music Extras

I sell a LOT of downloads and more often than not i wind up e-mailing the files to customers because Zen-Cart doesn't provide them with a download link. There is no rhyme or reason to this, people that buy the same song get the file download just fine and others don't even have the yellwo/green check boxes for the files when you view "Edit" in the invoices menu.

I have checked all the products and they are all:
Virtual (yes), Free Shipping (yes), Show Quantity Box (yes), Priced by attributes (no), Qty Minimum (1), Qty max (0), Qty Min/Unit mix (yes),

In each products attribute controller AND in Download manager all products have GREEN dots by file names.

In option Names I created "Download Song", Option Type "File". In option vaules I created "mp3". Now, I CANNOT edit the option VALUE for "download song" any longer it does not appear in the dropdown menu.

I notice the Music mgr in the Extras window of my 1.3.6 upgrade. Should I just switch all products to music? If so, is there a tutorial?

Option type "File" is for uploads ... typically artwork for stores selling printing services etc. This also explains why they're not showing in your dropdown menus.

For downloads, you want to use Option Type of radio, dropdown, or checkbox.
