How do I set up my categories on the sidebars?

I just installed the latest version of Zen Cart and also installed a teomplate. This is just a test before I install on the domain that the store will be on. My test store is located at
http://eaglepi.com/store/

As you can see there is nothing there.......lol when I add a category, that category is located in the middle of the top, when I viewed a example of this template there were sidebars where the categories were located.

where is it in admin where I set up the side bars ?

When adding a new template, you need to go to Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

And turn on your side boxes ...

NOTE: Reset will set them to the Zen Cart defaults ...
