Zend Optimizer error?

I am getting a slew of errors in my CGI error log:

"PHP Warning: Zend Optimizer does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of Zend Optimizer in Unknown on line 0"

They seem to be thrown whenever I navigate Admin or my online store. Any idea on Zend optimizer upgrades (or what version of PHP zen cart wants to see?)

I'm wondering if the errors are related to a sluggishness in getting pages to load?
