Inserting external RSS feeds as content

I am trying to solve this problem:
I would like to include some RSS feeds into my Zen cart content. Ideally, it would have an administration system by which I can add feeds without touching the code, but even a code based solution would do for now.

I use a very nice system on my Joomla based site and I would like to know if it was possible to replicate it in ZC. Here is the link to one of my RSS feed page(s) in joomla: http://www.conticreative.com/news_fe...sign-articles/

As you will notice, it's not just a list of feeds (there is an existing module for that) but upon clicking the link to a feed you can read much of the article's text in the following page as well.

Is there an existing contribution I could use (I could not find one on the directory) or should I write my own?

I haven't seen one that integrates external RSS content into pages within Zen Cart, however, you're not the first to ask about that sort of thing.
Perhaps you might be the first to contribute one ?

Maybe I will. Is there anyone that knows a good script I can adapt? I'll look at my Joomla aggregator and see if they derived it from somewhere else

Has this ever been addressed. I'm quite new to rss feeds and I would like to add a page which displays a feed. Maybe an EZ page or something that embeds the feed into one of my pages.

Sorry if this is dumb to people that about how to do this stuff.

I have seen an RSS feed on a custom site, that uses them to announce there latest products, and when you open the RSS up it has a nice product article and an add to cart button. This in my opinion would be a very cool addition to Zen Cart. Maybe when we get to Web 3.45 I will know enough about web development to write it myself
