Keep One Product Category out of Front Page Display?

I'm using Zen Cart for the gift shop for another site I have (besides Water Lily) and there is one category where students can pay for classes. I don't want this category to be showcased on the front page with New Products (because everything is new right now) but I would like the gift items to be showcased. They're listed in other categories.

Is there a way to have Zen Cart leave a category out of the front page showcase, New Products for December????

New Products are based on the products_date_added field and your setting in the Maximum Values for:

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

You can manually change the dates in the products table via phpMyAdmin to prevent the products from being included in the New Products Centerbox, sidebox and New Product Listing ...
