    Default Log in problem for new customers HELP!

    A bizarre problem has appeared on my site, and it seems from what customers have been saying that it started about 2 days ago, although I have touched absolutely nothing in my shop for months. What makes it especially trying is that I cannot replicate the error myself no matter how hard I try.

    Basically a new customer comes along, fills in the form upon login...and then nothing. Its difficult to explain as I have yet to see it for myself, but it seems that they get redirected back to the login form over and over. They simply cannot log in at all. And there is no record of them being a new customer when I look in admin either. No-one complains of getting any error messages. What makes it stranger is that many people have actually been able to make it through login as new customers and have no problem at all. I have tried on several computers and had friends test my site as well and so far none of us have been able to see what is going on for these people, but plenty enough people have complained of it, thats for sure.

    I am no techie - I dont understand the workings of my shop to be honest so if you have any ideas as to whats going on I'd be very greatful - obviously I'm having kittens as this has happened just as the Christmas rush hit me

    I am running Zencart 1.3.5 (intended to upgrade during the hols)

    Need to know more, just ask - I'm not sure what information would be useful .

    i've managed to create an account on your site. However, I did need to add the county twice - in the dropdown and type it in too.
    Did your other testers remember to tick the 'privacy statement'?

    I would strongly recommend upgrading to the current version of Zen Cart v1.3.6 ...

    Sounds like you are having issues with many of the address information that was fixed in the current release ...

    Thank you Tina! I don't think its anything to do with the dreaded state dropdown bug, I know about that little fellah and I've been keeping an eye on it as a known bug on the site. The privacy statement is another thing though, I'm going to see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion, its really helpful.

    Hello Ajeh! Yep, I am keen to upgrade - had wanted to wait until after Christmas to do that as I found upgrading to 1.3.5 excruciating and I'm in the middle of the Christmas rush, now I wish I hadn't put it off... is there anything I can do about it until I upgrade? Just as a temporary measure?

    Unless you have done something wild with your site ...

    The upgrade from v1.3.5 to v1.3.6 is relatively painless ...

    There are several threads to show you the best way to do the upgraded with the least amount of down time to your shop ...
