hi,
I have one question (Im doing a webshop for fashion items)
1)Is it possible to change the categories of the database - means that i have men and in within men than jeans, shirts, etc.? or do i then also have to change the sql queries in the php-code?

Change queries? Why would you do that? Add your categories via the admin tool and everything is automatic.
