    help question UPS 2007 updates

I just received a UPS Tech Alert email stating:

Important Changes to UPS Online® Tools Require Urgent Attention

UPS recently announced three new service options or features that may require UPS Online Tools users to make programming changes. Updates will enable you to enjoy the benefits of the new services and, in some cases, avoid problems that could arise from prior coding that is inconsistent with new UPS service levels.

    What’s New?
The latest Technical Documents cover these three UPS service introductions:
    1. Three time-of-day options for international deliveries
    2. Dimensional weight pricing applied to ground shipments larger than three cubic feet.
    3. Standardized “residential” or “commercial” designations for all U.S. delivery addresses.

What I am most concerned about is how these changes will effect the UPSXML module and/or the internal ZenCart UPS Shipping module. Any advice on this matter is appreciated, I have several clients successfully using the UPSXML module and they would like assurance that these changes will be addressed before the Jan, 1 2007 deadline.

    Default Re: UPS 2007 updates

It's not clear from reading the post or the attachment whether it's possible to test whether things are working as expected or not ... until January.

Confirmation in that regard would be a big help ...

It would appear that Zen Cart's built-in UPS module is not likely affected by this change.
