Default Ebay, Brick and Mortor payments accepted in ZC

    Hello!

Is there a way to accept payments with ZC for Ebay, and Brick and Mortor sales?

Something simple like a product listed as ebay auction/other payment in which a dollar amount can be entered by the customer, and then pay with ZC checkout payments (CC etc)

    some other way?

No answer for the eBay item as eBay has rules on payment....

The B&M solution goes to creating and using the mySQL Zen Cart DB and a POS(point of sale) system.

Not sure what you mean, is there a a way to accept payments without products in ZC? or have a product like "other payments" where the customer fills in the dollar amount?

Basaically, no.; Not without a product: You might create a custom product for variable payment that might fufill your requirements.

What I wwas referring to with eBay is that they have rules about payment and these normally require payment to be through their site and not yours. Check the eBay rules.

    Thanks kobra!

I will look into your suggestion. Too bad about ebay rules, I do seem to remember they allow "third party" checkouts like market works etc...but should do some more reading, it might be only for ebay partners.

    Thanks again for your help...

Looks OK for Zen Cart accepting payment for ebay items:

"Merchants with their own merchant credit card processing account, and those who use a third-party credit card processor, may also offer their buyers the option of paying directly with a credit card online (including through third party checkout) or by phone."

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/...ts-policy.html

might be nice to integrate this into ZC somehow.

If I am not mistaken this is more like sending them from eBay to your gateway as the price details eminate from eBay and would not need to be integrated through Zen Cart.

Kinda like sending buyers to your PayPal account from several sites.
