Coupon code overrides credit card

I'm having a problem getting the coupon codes to work on my site. I just upgraded to 1.3.5 and now it seems like one of my codes is not working.

The problem is when someone enters in the coupon code and then pays the balance with a credit card. The payment method (in the admin) says "Gift Certificate/Coupon) and the charge never gets processed by my merchant account. However, when a different code is used and the user pays via PayPal, it works. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

The only real differences between the coupons is that I have one (the one not working) set up as a "one use per customer", but that shouldn't make a difference.

You should upgrade to v1.3.6 ... this is the current version ... which also happened to address this issue as well as many others ...

While most likely that may be the way to go, I'd kind of like to use that as a last resort because of all the modifications that needed to be done in the recently completed upgrade to 1.3.5 from 1.2.7. There are so many changes needed to be made to the templates, etc. that the thought of goijng through that again right now is a little too much....

Any other ideas?

The upgrade from v1.3.5 to v1.3.6 is much easier as you now have the v1.3.x series changes made ...

Using something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com can make this a snap to do for file comparisson and changes, copying etc.
