    Default DIRECTORY & Includes?

I try to locate the directory or folder to upload and edit the new template, but I could not figure out where to start. I follow the advices in zen cart support, but I still get lost. Where can I find the directory(cPanel?) or somewhere? where can I find: includes/ templates/ template_default/ ......? I really need help. I appreciate for all your help. Thank you in advance

    Default Re: DIRECTORY & Includes?

cPanel is not a directory...it is a GUI that is provided by some hosts to manage your account. Others might be Ensim, plesk. or hSphere.

The Zen Cart files are stored on your server account in directories(folders) very similar to those that you have on your PC (if it is windows).

You need to have a basic understanding of the directory structure before you can begin to attack understanding the posts with "includes/ templates/ template_default/" and other file location references.

Look at your local HardDrive for it's structure to start with, then create a directory/folder on your HD like zencart and expand the Zen Cart distribution there. You can then view the structure of the Zen Cart folders and files on your Hard Drive. This will be the same when you look at your host account files
