    Default Re: My own navigation?

I don't know why it doesn't say to leave the URL box blank when creating pages in the ezpages section, geez.. That was my whole problem, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what to put there for an address when I should have just left it alone.

Last question then I'll go away quitely...
I have a lot of content and it seems it doesn't all fit on my pages, it gets cut off at the bottom. This happens in catagories and ezpages. Any reason or fix? Aarghh....

    thanks again barco

would need to see it to know. I sounds like a height for the page is set when it shouldn't be.

Hmm.. Well I'm going to start over, who knows what I did to cause this, and I didn't get very far to matter anyway.
I will open a new thread (on topic) if it reoccurs after.

I develop on my laptop also but I do keep a synched version on the main server in a sub folder of my store. Just in case the laptop explodes or melts down I don't lose the clients work. It also makes it easy for me to have my circus parade of testers to give the cart a good shakedown in its hosting enviroment.

    Yeah...
The problem is when working with this system I feel comfortable developing on one machine. Eventually I will throw all the files up on the server. Probably because I'm not familiar enough with it and not knowing what is dependent to what - nevermind the admin controls...

I'm still having an issue with my pages getting cut off even after a clean re-install and OEM template. I think it may be related to copy pasting from a Word doc, I don't know and I'll test further.

    thanks

It's a shame, since the html is already done for me in the Word doc.

    I hate when that happens...

MS-Word html is some of the dirtiest code produced and most often will not validate correctly at all. There are many good editors available and as noted you can use a straight text creator and paste and use the html builtin editor to style.
