Problems with Paypal

Hi All,

I am trying to configure paypal to accept payments for myself, I have looked all around and have yet to find a way within the Zencart to show the product name and not store name and then item number 1 as it always seems to want to do.

I really need to know how to get around this as it seems to be the only thing holding up the sites general use. Hope you can help.

zen cart sends an agregate total to paypal,

It sends this generic information because the customer gets a nice itemized recipt from your ZC Store.

If you dont like the product being your store name you can change that in the includes/modules/payment/paypal.php to read something like
"Payment for order placed at XXX.com"

and that will eliminate any confusion your customer might have

That makes a lot of sense. Yet I am trying to make it so that the product orderd displays withi paypal. At the moment I am getting the store name which is great.
However I need the product name to appear on the paypal rather than showing up item number1

why do you want to send your customer 2 itemized invoices?

Yes,
For some sites we will need to have a list of the order at least stating the products purchased on the site. Then to send out an packing slip / offical invoice with the product when dispatched to the customer.

I am not sure you are understanding what Im saying,

ZEN sends the customer as well as the admin an itemized invoices,
then you can print a packing slip right in zen cart,

no need to send the customer 2 itemized lists,

Well I understand what you mean, you have made it more clear to me. So the invoice actually gets emailed out to you once the order has been completed.
