Removing the Check for updates

I was just reading this post here but I may have a newer version of Zen installed:

I'd like to remove this link from the admin panel. Can someone guide me to the correct edit for this line of code:

in admin/includes/header.php

Why edit - the installer asks you if you want to check for updates when you run it.

It also said when I installed that I can turn this off later which is why I left it turned on when I was installing.

I'm handing this over to my client today and don't want them doing any updates on their own in case something gets messed up.

I haven't been able to locate the spot in the admin panel to turn this off. And if I read that post correctly, there's a place in the code that shoud be edited.

admin -> configuration -> my store -> Show if version update available (set to false)
