Linkpoint Confusion

I have a 1.3.0 version working well live and I've been working on a 1.3.6 version to go live when fully tested.

When I set up the 1.3.0 version -- I had to install a linkpoint payment module -- but I forgot all of the details of it since it was months ago. When I installed 1.3.6 with a test copy of my data (converted to 1.3.6) -- it looks like all of the linkpoint is there (I guess I assumed 1.3.6 had it standard) -- but when I tried to test a credit card charge as a customer -- I get a contact the store's administrator message.

What exactly was in the database that made the upgrade -- and what if anything do I have to get as a module and FTP to the server?

Also, in the payment modules I get the message "WARNING: YOU HAVE DUPLICATE SORT ORDERS WHICH WILL RESULT IN CALCULATION ERRORS
PLEASE CORRECT THESE ISSUES NOW!"

All of the unused modules (all have a red ball) have no sort order, while all three of the payment modules I do use (Linkpoint, Paypal, & Cash/Money Order) have a sort order of 1, 2, and 3.

Please advise.

If you have any installed that you are not using and have just disabled ... uninstall or give them a sort order as well ...

OK -- that's the answer to the second part (Thank You) -- how about an answer to the first part.

If I had linkpoint working in 1.3.0 -- do I have to upload anything above and beyond 1.3.6 to make it work in 1.3.6?

1.3.6 has linkpoint pre installed,

YES you will need to upload the PEM file

OK -- I nosed around and found it in the includes/modules/payment/linkpoint directory

Is there a way to test if you have the linkpoint deal working properly without really making a charge -- like a test card number?

If I were you ... I'd make a cheap product and do a real checkout to make sure it really works in reality and not assume it works ...

OK -- when I test by making a $1 widget and buying it on my Mastercard -- the Step 3 (Confirm) goes off for a couple of minutes to check -- then comes back with this message

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Paypal works fine
