GC redemption code

The redemption code that my customers are receiving in their emails is about 3 times longer than it needs to be....so when they try to redeem it, they get an "invalid redemption code" message. If I go into admin and copy and paste the correct code to them, they have no problem. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks!

Check the setting on the Configuration ... GV Coupons ...

See what the length is set to for the redemption code:

Length of the redeem code
Enter the length of the redeem code
The longer the more secure

The default is 10 ...

It was set at 1000! I changed it to 15...is that okay?

Gads ... 15 is fine ... as I say the default is 10 but you can go up higher ...

Type in your 1000 character GV Remption code ... see ya next year!
