gift certificate question

if a customer orders a gift certificate via check/money order and never sends in payement......how do i delete the gift certificate in que?

As told to me by Linda;

In phpMyAdmin, you can browse the coupon_gv_queue table and find the GV for that order ...

Carefully delete just that 1 record ...

That is correct ... manual is the only method at this time ...

We will be working on a more managable Gift Certificate for things like this in a future release ...

For now, it works this way as this is Cash and deleting someone's Cash is a big no no ... and easily being able to change someone's balance is a big no no ...

So, it is not easy to do this until there is a fully implemented method to track the who did what when and where and why on GVs and customer GV balances etc.
