There is no need to run the patch again. If it said 39 statements processed then that worked as expected.
You can run the script again, and it won't mess anything up, but it won't fix anything in this case either (the problem is not in the SQL queries, but with missing files). Upon reinstall, it uninstalls itself though (unless you are upgrading) so you will need to re-enter your Google ID etc....
The problem of items not showing in the drop downs are not due to the database updates. It is do in whole to some missing files (meaning you either uploaded them to the wrong directories, or did not upload all of them).
Make sure you carefully read the step-by-step instructions that came with it and re-check that you uploaded all files to the proper directories. Once you get the location of those worked out, the configuration information will show in your navigation.

There are only 4 files? is that right? I've re-downloaded the mod, re-installed it a few times, done everything in the read-me. checked each folder to make sure the files are in the appropriate places but still configuration->google analytics configuration does not appear in the admin
Has no-one else every had this problem. I'm running the most up to date version of zencart
No other reported problems of this at all.
If you want me to take a look at it PM me the login details to your server (FTP) and the Admin login as well.
Should be a real quick fix.

For the record and in case anyone else experiences this problem (spoke about a few posts ago with Barricades)
Here is the solution. I spoke via PM with barricades and it turned out that the addition of a contribution that allowed various Admin access controls was the culprit.Hi I wonder if anyone can offer me some suggestions.
I've installed the files and uploaded the sql patch as per the instructions (the only thing i did different was to rename the your_template folder and although it doesn't seem to say to do this in the read-me i've read elsewhere that i was right to do this)
The 39 statements thing appears when i ran the patch.
only thing is that no configuration->google analytics configuration appears in the config menu in my admin.
any ideas what is wrong. I've done everything else as far as i can see in the instructions.
Thanks by the way for the mod (hopefully i get it working :-) )
Nothing was wrong with that contribution at all, the "access" to that newly installed module (Simple Google Analytics) had to be "allowed" for the user in order to get it to show in the Admin drop down box.
Here is the exact reply form barricades in case anyone else needs it:
Hope this post helps others out that may run across this.Wait... found out what the problem was.
I have recently installed a mod which allowed you to change admin permissions.
for some reason it must default to not allow the admin to use 3rd party contributions.
I only found out this when i tryed to use easy populate!

The mod in question is Admin Profiles (support thread and download). It is an awesome contribution if you have more than one person accessing the admin area but does seem to cause a lot of problems with people who forget that they've got it installed!

Wow Im pulling my hair out....
Installed the latest Simple Google analytics mod from the downloads page..
Im running 1.3.7. All installed ok, works fine in admin... code shows on pages if i view source.
The code shows up on my hompage with the correct user number thing... not xxx
its just before the </body> tag.
I have the url in my google to http://www.domain.co.uk/ (with the final trailing slash)
When i try to check the code is installed from google i get :
The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website's home page.
Was there ever an answer to this??? Can anyone help?
