This problem is happening because the template-specific files for Image Handler haven't been installed in your template.

Where would I find those? Sorry for so many questions but I'm not having much luck searching for the files.
Thanks again.

header area is way to large
you want customers to see your products not a huge header taking up half there screen
I know where that folder is, I'm not understanding what is supposed to go there. It does show image files there already.
CnTGifts if you were talking to me, I have the header area at 300 px high. I had to do it like that so the logo would fit (and the customer doesn't want a smaller one) but IH or something else is causing a larger area to be shown at times.

Hi, I'm so new to this and this is my first time doing my own site. I've already got the basic part of my site setup and I want to change the template, so I downloaded the Lavender template but now I need help in where to install it to. I've read the instruction of the install, but got alittle confuse with how to drag and dropping the files. I didn't want to mess up my current page so can someone please kindly tell me the best way to this without too confusing? I went into the ftp client but I don't understand where to put the complete includes folder to. Thanks so much!
grneyes,
When you see this white space - in your browser select > edit > select all > and you should see a non visible block in this area highlighted...
This is not part of the template code and I could not determine what it is
Rayray,
I answered your issue in response to your PM

You need to put the contents into your custom template folder which in your case is "lavender".
I agree with CnTGifts comment about the header, and although I understand your point about the client wanting to stick with this logo, as the site designer your responsibility is to design around this requirement. For example, I wouldn't use a liquid layout as that makes everything else look small and insignificant around the big logo. I would use bigger image sizes so that they can better compete with the over-sized logo. I'd move the logo to the left and use the space created creatively. You could run the categories as a vertical list with bigger a bigger font next to it for example, rather than underneath and in the left hand column. You could even push the boat out and put a scrolling whatsnew or featured product up there, as well as the site navigation.

Thank you! That got rid of the white space and image hover is now working.
I'm not a web designer I'm just helping out a client with setting up a cart. I don't know how to put the categories in the logo area but that is something she might go for.
