I do not understand why you do not want your site branded but find these in the stylesheet and add what is in red

I love this templte. A real newbie and have been working on my site for almost 4 months. I love the shopping cart but editing the "site" has been a real chore for me, my site is live but still with no shopping cart. It is almost done with the editing but I want to replace the classic green with this beautiful lavender.

I have downloaded it and put it in my templates folder, when I go to do the ftp upload I cannot find the zc install file.

I use bluehost as my webprovider and they offer a program called simple scripts something similar to fantastico to install the program directly into my website. I could never get zencart to install correctly so I finally relented and used the self install program.

I have tried installing the levender template to my "shopping cart" which is what I named zencart and nothing, then I tried to install it directly to the includes templates folder and still no levender in the templates dropdown box.

Any other suggestions on how and where to ftp upload the file?

Not really a forum for how to use FTP - but

There is a includes folder for this template and all things inside of it are arranged correctly...

So in FTP local make sure you can see the includes folder

FTP remote insure that you see the admin images includes and other folders

Drag the local includes folder over to the remote panel - not on top of any folder just the panel in general - drop it

The files will be copied to the correct folders

Tks for a fantastic template, I am a real newbie but I managed to install it correctly!!
One problem I have is I replaced the header Logo.gif
but the width seems too long when viewed in 800x600 resolution and too short when viewed at 1024X768. What is the width of the Logo needed and is there a way to make it appear 100% when viewed at any resolution? I have trawled the forum but can't seem to find any answer to this

To add on, I can't find this folderKuroi was talking about...
"And in addition to Kobra's advice above, you will need to change your includes/languages/english/lavender/header.php file to reflect your logo's new dimensions."

The lavender folder is not there but the classic is.

Your so called logo is 828 px wide and is static so at either res it does not fit into a template that is fluid,

You can see if you like the template as a fixed width by altering the width in the stylesheet.css for the template to 828px

Not what I meant if you are now opening the admin folder...

It should be the root of your shop - where you can see the folders - includes - images - pub - cache - and the admin folder

Thx for the speedy reply. I can redo the logo. What size or format must I have it in to ensure that it can be used for this fluid template.
I also can't seem to find this folder that Kuroi mentioned "includes/languages/english/lavender/header.php file " ???
