Lavender Template Support Thread

If I compare the seminars page (http://www.evergreenparenting.co.za/...in_page=page_2)
with for instance the tip of the week page
(http://www.evergreenparenting.co.za/...=index&cPath=2)

one have a white strip on top and scrolls horizontally and the other is perfect with no space and no scroll

I had a table in my html that was set too wide to fit into the layout...this pushed the template apart and created the white spaces on top and on the sides

I addapted the lavender template (CSS) and made CUSTOM buttons. I replaced the buttons in my Template folder... shop/includes/templates/CUSTOM/buttons/english....same format and names
but the buttons/images are not showing in my shop it is still the old buttons... I have refreshed, cleared my cache etc all the obvious reasons
what am I missing?
this is not urgent but would be nice to solve

by buttons I mean "search" "add to cart" "next" "back" etc

entering this after your domain name should display the image

/shop/includes/templates/evergreen/buttons/english/button_add_to_cart.gif

In your sites case this generates a 404 not found error so I would triple check that you have these where you think they are.

adding this shows an image

/shop/includes/templates/template_default/buttons/english/button_add_to_cart.gif

I have tested it and most of the images are under evergreen/buttons/english...the ones that wasn't I loaded now
but it still does not show on the site.... I have also now loaded the button images under evergreen/buttons/afrikaans (my other language ) to see if it doesn't have something to do with that

If indeed evergreen/buttons/english is where they should be I will continue to play around to see if I can get it to show

You might also check your setting in

admin > config > layout settings > CSS Buttons > set to "NO"

setting admin > config > layout settings > CSS Buttons > set to "NO" worked for most of the buttons yes! The ones that are missing I will make sure are there and named correctly

I obviously do not fully grasp the concept of css buttons versus normal buttons though... I assume one is the rollover effect and the other are just the static images

MY PROBLEM is that my header (banner) does not show when admin > config > layout settings > CSS Buttons > set to "NO" so I have set my logo banner up wrong in the beginning... is it just that it is in the wrong folder or is there coding I have to alter in onother file?

By default this should have nothing to do with what I believe you mean for "header banner" - is this your logo?

I tried setting it to 'No' again and the "logo" is there now... have no clue why it did not show earlier!!...
