    Default Orders don't show up, but Paypal works

    Today I received my first order in awhile, but I was not notified through zencart. In the past I have always received a zencart email telling me about an order, but nope. The only way I knew I had an order was from Paypal telling me the order had been received.

    The order did not receive an order number and there is no record in my Admin of this order having ever taken place. This is an old customer, and her customer profile in admin shows that she logged in today, but has no record of an order.

    I thought it may have been because she did not click "return to merchant" in paypal, so I created a test item at $.01 and went through myself. Went through paypal, returned to my checkout_success page and everything... still no tracking of the order in admin, although Paypal sent me an email telling me I had received payment. (except not really, because they kept my cent.)

    This is altogether very odd and I'm worried it's going to involve some really ugly stuff... thanks in advance to anyone who has any suggestions!

    And now i've realized that it has not even kept track of her shipping address... while she is an old customer and I still have an old shipping address on file, there's a very good chance it could have changed within the year it's been since she last ordered.

    This is absurd..

    same thing happens with me once i nawhile, with both paypal and check payments

    I'm in exactly the same situation. Thankfully the customer is a friend and returning customer. I tried to run a transaction and can successfully send a payment, however, I can get to my checkout success page outside of payment. Somethings up and I will check the Wiki link for more info.

    To follow up...my issue was with CURL proxy status set to true. My host is GoDaddy and once I set CURL proxy status to false, everything worked. I read about this issue in another topic and had a strong hunch this was the problem.

    I also had the automatic return URL set to http rather than https. Once I changed this in my PayPal profile (Profile --> Website Payment Preferences) the automatic return feature worked as did everything else.

    Thank you SO much. I was not getting any orders back either. They processed thru PayPal, but did not return to the Zen Cart.
    I set the CURL proxy status to FALSE and it is WORKING!
    Please note. For others who have multiple Zen carts going to your one PayPal account. (Although this my be another issue/thread) - I have 2 websites with a Zen Cart in each one. Payments all go to my ONE Paypal account. (after 2 days and over 8 hours on the phone with PayPal service people telling me I could not do it, as they read from their scripts,..I finally got a tech who knew what he was talking about. Yes you can. Zen Cart has the return in its own code and overrides the PayPal return. You only have to set your PayPal account to return to ONE of your websites. Zen Carts code figures out which site to return it to. YEA!)

    I also have a MULTIPLE DOMAIN SECURE cert on GoDaddy. I did not have to set the http to https because the setting http://mydomain (not with the www like in http://www.mydomain) works OK for the return. So either way will work unless you have all your pages programmed for the https as GoDaddy recognizes the http://mydomain as secure (without the www.)

    I have double checked everything as far as my return page and all my settings to make sure they are set up the way they should be. However, for some reason the orders are not showing up and the money isn't showing up through the admin.
    However, the money is in my paypal account. Yet, the orders haven't been recognized through zen cart in the admin panel.
    I was wondering where do you find your CURL proxies so I may make sure mine are set to false in hopes it will solve this issue.
    I'm just lucky that my customers messaged me to let me know that they had placed a order.
