AAhhh... I see what your asking. I'm trying to change the option name comment:)

So does that mean its not possible?![]()
Is it possible to simply add text in between the attributes? Thats really all I need to do.
Thanks a whole bunch for the help![]()
The Option Name Comment field is right where I stated it was earlier:
Have you tried this? You also have an Option Name Comment: (Example: Don't see a Color you want? Call us!)
table: products_options
field: products_options_comment
Have you then tried to add a longer comment?

Thank you for your time..
I have used the option name comments... the problem is, it only allows you to enter 64 characters. That simply isn't enough to describe the attribute properly.![]()
While the displayed input box may look shorter, have you tried typing in something like:
Just to see what displays?123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789
What size did you change the field:
products_options_comment
to be in your database?

Yes... it removes everything past 64 char.
I'm suprised this doesn't an easy work around. Don't get me wrong Ajeh, Zen Cart is a masterpiece, but formatting the product pages is HUGE.
Is there anything I can do?
I just made the change to my table:
products_options
and change the field:
products_options_comment
to now be:
varchar(255)
and I edit one of my Option Names, in this case Color, and add to the Comment:
And I go to any product with this Option Name and I see:123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 DONE!
Are you sure you are making the proper change to the proper database? Please Choose:
123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 123456789 DONE!
Color
Red ( +$75.00 )

At the beginning of the thread it says to change:
products_options_types table and look for: products_options_types_name
To make it work you have to go to:
products_options
and change the field:
products_options_comment
-just in case anyone else has this problem
Thanks a whole bunch!!![]()
Well, I got a question about the attributes comments as follows.....
I've got to show a dropdown with fonts.
I need to display an image each time the dropdown selection changes.
Example......The dropdown displays Ariel by default. I need "ariel.jpg" to displayed beside it (which I can get with the attributes comments). When a user selects the Comic Sans, I need "comic_sans.jpg" to display.
Is there an easy way that I'm overlooking?
