Mmmm.....hmmm.....this is a hard one isn't it? So far, nobody knows how to do this, I take it?

I think it's going to have to be php code to change these images as the user selects the font, based on the Attribute Option Value in tpl_modules_attributes.php. I just don't know exactly HOW to do that.

I DO know that the "Select Fonts" Attribute (ID 49), at this moment only has 15 fonts in the dropdown with more to be added. At this time, those 15 fonts have Option Value of 336 to 351.

Can anyone tell me how to create and call the array of images to display upon user selection of the dropdown?

I was just reading through it, and it somewhat pertained to my question, looked like you got your problem resolved.............. and Ajeh was logged on at the time, and I was hoping she would see this............she's the ABSOLUTE BEST with all this attribute stuff. You need some java wiz on this one ... and that I am not ...

I know it is possible with Attributes that are radio buttons and hovering over them to display images with a combination of java script and css ... but I am not good enough at it to write it up without a lifetime of work on it ...

To make it functional with dropdowns I am guess that there must be a way ... but again that is for the java wizards ...

Ahhhh.......so pretty much all I need is a Java Script to change the images, then? Oh, boy!......I'm no good at Java or php. I was thinking this could be done with php, but now that you mention it, if it WAS done in the php, the page would probably re-load upon every selection, wouldn't it?......hence the need for the Java. That makes a lot of sense. Now, I'm really screwed, huh?

Thanks for the response, Linda. I just knew that you would have some "magical" way to do this without any coding, but you can't win 'em all, can you?

I know what you mean, but you've got it all wrong.........Link, the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda series, Link, is portrayed as a male child or teen who wears a green tunic and pointed cap for most of each game. He is a member of the Hylian race.

I figured with you would know that.......although I've always kinda' wondered why you use a male character as your avatar........thought you just really liked Link.

Just for info: In case anyone needs the SQL to change the attribute comment field length, the Flexible Attributes mod in Free Addons has a couple of examples that you can copy/paste into Tools > Install SQL Patches for different kinds of length.
