Gift Certificate Attributes

I've searched and found 5 files:

/includes/languages/english/document_general_info.php

/includes/languages/english/document_product_info.php

/includes/languages/english/product_free_shipping_info.php

/includes/languages/english/product_music_info.php

/includes/modules/attributes.php

Do you think if I replaced these with the original, 1.3.8 install files then it might cure the problem or at least eliminate the culprit file?

Or is the problem more deep rooted than that, like perhaps one of the files is missing a DEFINE and will therefore not show up in a search because somehow the ATTRIBUTES_PRICE_DELIMITER_PREFIX line is missing from the file completely?

That or you have a bad file altogether for the language file and need to reload it ...

OK, adding:

define('ATTRIBUTES_PRICE_DELIMITER_PREFIX', ' ( ');
define('ATTRIBUTES_PRICE_DELIMITER_SUFFIX', ' )');
define('ATTRIBUTES_WEIGHT_DELIMITER_PREFIX', ' (');
define('ATTRIBUTES_WEIGHT_DELIMITER_SUFFIX', ') ');

to product_info.php has gotten rid of the ATTRIBUTES_PRICE_DELIMITER_PREFIX lines in the classic template but still, can't get the add to cart or the drop down to appear in the new template override I'm using... I wonder what can be wrong?!?

To hell with it! 2 days I've been trying to fix it, just have to forget about gift certificates ....... category deleted, problem solved!!

Using something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com might help you discover what is broken with the template ...

If my classic template works but the new one doesn't then is it definitely a language file?

If it's definitely a language file then perhaps just overwriting the language files with the original files would be the answer?

Then it is one of the language files or template files in your overrides ...

Removing or fixing the file should fix the problem ...
