help question Categories.php Parse Error Help?

    Hi Guys,

Prettymuch all I did was copy /template_default/ to a different directory with all files and folder trees attached. I edited the info PHP file and was about ready to begin skinning over a design I've made, when I decided to make sure the copying of the layout went fine. Well the index page shows the following:

    Parse error: parse error,
    unexpected ':' in
    /home/user/zencartdir/includes/modules/sideboxes/categories.php on line 19

(Italics are replaced words in this post)

I followed the tutorial listed here for bringing a new template on board, but used /template_default/ instead of /custom/ because it had individual page templates listed. Anyways, even if I switch back to an original template using the methods listed in that FAQ, that error still comes up. I checked the CHMODs and all's good, plus this error wasn't apparent before I tinkered. Any help's appreciated.

Do not copy all of the files. For a custom template override you only use the files you change.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Would that fix the parse error too? Because even once I switch templates back its still in there. I disabled it in the modules control panel and the error still comes up. I don't know what else to do with that file, no matter what it gives an error.
