When someone checks the newsletter subscription box, upon registration to my regular website, they are not being added automatically to my phpList.

Is there a way to make that happen without my having to manually enter every one of those?

Or, is there a way to disable the newsletter option completely from zen cart...so my customers won't think they're being subscribed when they really aren't?
