Orders Received but DO NOT Show up

I've seen this problem in the threads, but not sure the solution....

I am using PayPal for oder processing. I get successful e-mails from PayPal and from the Zen program....

But, when I go into ADMIN - CUSTOMERS - ORDERS I do not see the orders in the list!!!! Money is there and I go the e-mail from BOTH paypal and zen. But not in the list.


However, If I go to ADMIN - CUSTOMERS - PAYPAL IPN, then I do get a list of all the successful transaction.

Very Confusing. ANy help?

Go to the Customers ... Orders ...

Type in on the search for orders id: the orders_id that you cannot see ...

Now can you see it?

If so, look in the Modules ... Order Totals ...

Do all have unique Sort Orders?

Do you have Total ot_total installed? Is it enabled?

I can search for the orders and they do indeed show up.

When I go to the Modules - Order_total, the only module is a 3rd party one called ot_quantity_discount. I am using this to give anyone who orders anything a $5.00 ONLINE discount - trying to encourage use of the store over calling the company.

The sort order for that module was 295. I changed it to 5 just to see. No help.

ONE order shows up in my order list. That was the one order placed before the ot_quantity_discount was set-up. Perhaps I deleted something or the 3rd party broke something?

Again, the orders are there - I can see them by going to Customers _ PayPal IPN...

Any ideas....

If the Modules ... Order Totals ... Total ot_total is not installed then the orders do not appear in the listing ... as the listing is built based on the existance of the total ...

Turn that on and all new orders will start to show ...

Excellent. It seems that when I uploaded a third party mod called ot_quantity_discount, I got rid of ALL the other modules (like ot_total, ot_tax, etc.) I uploaded those and now they show up in the modules listing.

So, I assume it will work for the new orders.

Anyway to get the past orders to show up in the listing?????

You would have to manually create the missing information in the orders_total table of your database ...

Do a real order ... see how that is done now that it is working ...

Then you would need to fix the old records to have similar information ...

Ok I have check the settings listed above.

The order is not credited to the customer and is not search-able.

The stock level on that item did not go down when he purchased 3.

We did get payment and did know what he purchased by calling him.

Is there a setting I missed besides; Do you have Total ot_total installed? Is it enabled? YES and YES.

This is the only problem we are currently having.

I have never used one of GoDaddy's free sites so not sure if that is an issue ...

What Payment Modules are you using?

Have you tested this yourself?

What happens if you test with the Check/Money Order payment module?
