From your brief description it's hard to tell what's going on exactly. I doubt you get half buttons from two different generators, but it could still be it's something specific on your end. Furthermore we have links to at least three generators in this thread, not two:

    http://www.advancewebsoft.com/downlo...nerator-p.html
    http://zencart.buttonsworkshop.com/
    http://zen-bck.mediakitchen.de/

It would be helpful if you could provide a link to a site with the resulting buttons or at least attach the button files to your post and describe exactly what you have tried to do, with which tool.

I would to create this button not only for me in several languages but also to contribute back to Zen Cart.
I can only speak for my tool here ( zen-bck / Zen Button Construction Kit ) that requires you to install it on a web server with PHP, GD >= 2.0.12 and FreeType support to use it with your own button templates. It comes with an installation file that describes how to create your own templates, together with post #38 in this thread this should be sufficient explanation what to do. Download in the contributions section is here:

    John:

There is only one online button generator that allows one to upload your button images.

http://zencart.buttonsworkshop.com/ does not work in Safari and frankly I am done firing up the Dell if I don't have to.

Ok this is all I get regardless of what part (1 or all 3) of the image I upload.

I sure hope this is just user error. I have the left corner, background, and right corner PNGs.

Maybe you could upload the image in your generator so that everyone could use it? That might be the trick.

I can create a set for Gloss_Blue template as well or any other one you want.

Sure, go ahead. Your PNGs MUST support alpha transparency, so they can be used on any shop background color, otherwise I should not include them. Send me a private message to start communication, I will embed your template immediatedly at http://zen-bck.mediakitchen.de for you to use, and in the contribution with the next release (if it fits the requirements).

Apart from that: can only give support for my own tool here.

Just wanted to tell zen community that we have just finished some updates at http://zencart.buttonsworkshop.com/ So we added some more languages, also you can now save your buttons set and share it with friends and add additional custom buttons.

So I've been playing around with your online tool.. How do I get it to generate the buttons with a transparent background.. Simply removing the background color in my button settings doesn't seem to do the trick..

Only one thing I ask the users who provide language definitions for: Please always use only HTML encodings for the special characters and only in the form 'é', 'ä' etc, not the number equivalents either (i.e. no '& # 228;'). Only that way the automatic conversion to upper or lower case (if selected) will work with the current zen_bck algorithms. That's the way it works right now. - - -
    Hi,

I have problem of ä's and ö's not appearing correctly. I got your updated version (had 1.6 first, now 1.6.3) but it still won't work properly. Instead of letter "ä", it appears "a square" in that. The peculiar thing is that in some words there may be 1 letter "ä" completely fine and another just a square.
I tested with German, Finnish etc but the same thing in all of them using special characters...
I may be blond but at least I found Zen.
