    Default Customer Access Control

    Hi, All,
I am new to Zen Cart. I tried to sort out this problem by searching previous posts. But I failed to find what I need.

I want to let registered customer or customers who paid anual fee can see more contents or download links. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Another question is if customer choose several products, after checked out, how can I show all the download links in one page.

    thanks in advance.

    John

You can manually manage Customer Groups via the admin area.
If you want to use those groups to control access to certain content pages, you'll have to do custom programming to create your content management and use the group information to control access.

Zen Cart does this automatically for purchased downloads. All the download links will appear on the Checkout Success page, as well as in the My Account area under Order History.

    Thanks, Doctor.
Now I know how to add a downloadable file to the product through attribute. further question is if the file is on another server, I want the customer can see the text link after payment. actually there is no option needed. how to do it?

I still don't know how to manage customers in groups. In the admin area I only see group pricing. I want to let paid members to see the download link in the downloadable product info page. others cannot see it. it's sort of text hiding on the page.

    Can you help? thanks.
