Prices change but why ?

Hi,

I am busy filling my store. I first trying a basic setup. Something strange is going on with the prices. When i add a product under catalog->catagories-> subcatagory and i price the product 759 (net - gross no tax) then the product price in the shop is reduced to 592.85 (i use euros) cannot find the setting that makes the changes. Can somebody tell me where i have to search ? thanks !

yes after some searching around i found the currency option. its working now. Thanx !
