Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere before, I searched and couldn't find any similar cases.

For some reason, items have been disappearing from the search results on the admin side of our inventory. At first it seemed random, but now it seems that the earliest entered items are not showing up. If I search for items numbered under 800 or so, they won't show up in the search results. However, if I search from the public cart side, I can find these items.

Also, I can find these disappearing items if I go through the inventory item by item in the admin. I just can't find them via the search function.

We now have about 2200 items listed in our inventory. Does the search function only cover a certain amount of items?

Any idea about what's going on? This might not sound like a big problem but it's a pain to try to figure out if we've got an item already on the cart if we can't use the admin categories/products search function.
