HTMLarea not working

After updating from 1.3.01 to 1.3.6 the HTMLarea in admin is no longer working.
When selected still getting the text editor.
Any idea how to fix this?

If you are not already doing this - try admin > tools > define pages editor > then select html from the drop box > then you should get the html editor at least for this session.

i just did a fresh install of 1.3.7
and the htmlarea editor is missing.
it was there in my 1.3.6
any help would be appreciated
