Related items, accessories and add-ons

What is the best way to handle add-on items to a product? I have a client that sells ham radio equiptment and many of the radios have add-on items you can purchase with the radio. There are also accessories and other related items to the radio that would be nice if it showed up on the product page.

I looked at the attributes, but that could get confusing and hard to manage. But many of these add-ons and accessories pertain to one specfic radio while others can be for multiple radios.

Has anyone seen a plug-in for this?
