Editing Welcome Message

Hi,

Was wondering if some kind soul could help me out. I want to customize my welcome message and delete everything it says in it up to the part of the pirvacy statement. What do I add or delete. I've searched the forums high and low and just can't come up with an answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Using the Tools ... Developer's Tool Kit ...

You can enter a peice of text that you are looking for in the bottom input box and select Catalog ... then click Search ...

This will help you locate define statements that you are looking for so you can then use the templates and overrides to customize your own ...

Thanks so much for your quick reply. I should have said that I have found the file I am looking to edit but I just don't get how to go about editing it. I've tested it but just entering my text and get errors so I tested it with the codes that were there and got different errors. LOL I'm just so lost on how to make it work.

Okay I did get it to work.

So now I just need to know how do I break the lines and paragraphs?

You can use html in a define, but how much text are you putting inthe welcome message? You realize that is tagged with an <h1> ? For a long text I would recommend using the define page editor in the admin. It will make your life easier.
