Image upload problems

Hello everyone
First of all, I searched for a solution on this forum but I was unsuccessful. I have the latest Zen-Cart version 1.3.5 running on Ipower hosting (php 5.1.4, mysql 5)

My permissions are all correct

I add a product fine but when I get to the preview picture, the image is broken. I right mouse click and check out the properities for the image, and the destination seems fine. To make sure there image is there I open up FTP and the image is there. So I put the destination in the browser to point to the image and I get

The image “http://www.cnytextile.net/showcase/images/D01-4350.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

I open up the image locally on my computer using ms paint, it seems fine. I tried SAVING AS the image as a different name on my desktop and then uploaded again, and IT WORKED FINE!

What seems to be the problem?

I do not know if MSpaint will tell you or not but try to check the image encoding and if it is CMYK chage to RGB and see if this helps.
