PayPal IPN - not showing line item details

Merlin is right --- if you're using the PayPal IPN payment module, you'll not see line-item details on your PayPal receipts.

However, if you are using the PayPal Express Checkout option available in v1.3.7+ then the line-item details are available on the PayPal side as well as the Zen Cart side.

So basically, if I upgrade to 1.37 I shouldn't have a problem?

Excellent - upgrade here I come...

Hi Guys

I've upgraded to 1.37 but I dont see PayPal Express Shipping within my Payment Modules screen.

I only see PayPal IPN - which when I go to complete the transaction it still displays one item as per the original attached image.

Where have I gone wrong?

I've setup the Instant Payment Notification Preferences and Website Payments Preferences on my Premier PayPal account and the only thing I haven't set - which I hope isn't the thing thats causing this not to work is the PHP allow_url_fopen() must be enabled because I don't know where this is configured.

Any help would be appreciated.

there should be 2 paypal modules,
If you dont see IPN and express checkout then you didnt upload all the files

I had the same issue, the changelog seems a bit incomplete somewhere. I basically copied the WHOLE Modules Payments Paypal folder over

and don't forget this file!! I did at first, got it all working now with Express, still not seen if the item name is copied across into Paypal. I also hope the Auth Only option works as this is just what i've needed!!

The Changelog contains multiple sections ... changed items and "added" items. If you missed reading the "added" (new files) section, then you'd naturally be missing expected functionality.

I have installed the New PayPal Express Checkout with thew new Feb 20 Patch.
The module seems to be working fine but this quoted feature is not available.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
