Expanded Categories

I've 2 levels category and I wanted it to be expanded on the left box.
From the admin panel I set the value of
Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories to 1
But the categories didn't expanded?
Ain't it supposed to be expanded or is there anything else I got to do?

The Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories to 1 means that when you click on a Category with subcategories you can see them in the categories sidebox ...

Setting it to 0 then when you click on a Category with subcategories you do not see them in the sidebox and only see them in the middle of the page ...

But its not exactly what I am looking for.
What I want is, doesn't matter in which page you're, I want all the categories on the leftside opened in any page. Whether you're in product details page or clicked any category that have subcategories or not, I want that all the categories/subcategories opened.
Is there any way out to accomplish this?

You would need a different style of Categories Sidebox ...

There are several in the Downloads that might be more along the lines of what you are looking for ...

Try this. It worked for me and keeps my subcategories showing all the time.
