Default Sub-Catagories missing in Middle of Page

I have imported 293 products from a text file using EP.

The problem is that although the sub-catagories appear in the menu at left, the do not appear in the box at the top of the page that shows sub catagories (and images if they have one) .

    Right now it just says

There are no products to list in this category.

All the other main catagory pages show sub-catagories in both the sidebox and the main part of the page.

I looked and there is a thread about restricting to document-general but that does not do anything for my problem.

I have looked at the Easy Populate dump and compared it to what I inserted and they are exactly the same.

Any insights on how to fix this .

    thanks in advance

Taking a quick look I would venture to say that they have not been entered correctly/fully in the DB

You have other cats that are working....Look at ALL the DB entries for one of these and compare to what you have for the one not functioning. Insure that the indexes are there and correct

OK so if I look at the tables in phpMyAdmin I should be able to compare indexes?

Please can you let me know which tables to look at in MySQL?

    thanks

Without knowing what you have done already look at these for one that works and most probable it is that you might have omitted or incorrectly entered the products_to_categories links

    categories
    categories_description
    meta_tags_products_description
    meta_tags_categories_description
    products
    products_description
    products_to_categories

Actually, for the one that does not work this is the path: product_info&cPath=104_105&products_id=1415

and one that works is: product_info&cPath=102&products_id=458

You appear to have both Products and Categories in some of your Categories ...

Categories hold Products OR Categories but not both or things will not work correctly ...
