ÿþ ?? Where does it come from??

After I managed to put together the "home" page, I got these characters ÿþ (they are not in red) and I have no idea where they came from

Any idea where I should look??
Also after I created additional page (define_page_2) how do I get it show under information??

in admin > tools > developers tools > last/bottom left box enter/paste the text select all catalog files from the dropdown and search This will indicate the file(s) where this is.

Always use a straight text or code editor to make these edits as other means tend to add stray characters

page_2 should be in the "more information side box" by default

Thank you Kobra, I found it - 1st line in define_main_page.php:
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript" LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
Does this mean I cannot use scripts within these pages? This even works simple "show date".
I also got more info on, but cannot locate where to change "Page 2" text to the "title of the page". I've change all the files that were indicated in http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/Page_2_page
(I just left HEADING_TITLE blank, but even when I put it in, it did not make a change)

Not sure what you are stating as <SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript" LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> does not contain the ÿþ characters that you referenced.

Scripts can be included in many places if inserted correctly.

Have you enabled the "More Information" sidebox in the admin > tools > layout boxes controller?? So that you can see the page_2 entry?

yes, I have the More info sidebox , but is shows Page 2, Page 3 Page 4
I am still looking where to change it to show what I need (page title)

Almost all of the are defined in english.php

You can learn to use the admin > tools > developers tools > and enter a text string/word in the bottom left box > select thfrom the drop "all catalog files" > and search...a valuable tool
