Display price/add to cart - show price only?

How can I get only the price to show in the product listing instead of the price and the add to cart quantity field?

guessed this was just a matter of the number this is set to but confused, default was 3, showing price and field, 0 turns both off, 1 turns both on 2 does nothing, 3 changes the column position, nothing else seems to have an affect...

Help?

Set this to anything but 0, the value is the sort order of the columns:

Display Product Price/Add to Cart
Do you want to display the Product Price/Add to Cart

Set this to 0

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)
Do you want to display the Add to Cart Button?

NOTE: Turn OFF Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status to use Option 2 on with Qty Box per Product

Now instead of Price and Add to Cart you will see the Price and ... more info

so I have the price and "more info" this is on products with attributes, on products with out I get the little add to cart box can I get rid of this text and the box, and have just the price? on all products irrespective of wether or not they have attributes applied?

With the settings I gave you, all Products with or without attributes would read
$XX.XX
... more info

You would need to customize the Product Listing to not show the ... more info as the define MORE_INFO_TEXT is used in many other places as well ...

I have an identical need. I don't want to show the "more info" OR the "add to cart" options in the product list area.

Is there a way to show only the title and the price?

I am a total newbie but this caught my eye. Ironically I need to turn the price off and have only the add to cart button active! Does anyone know if this is possible?

Why would I want to go shopping and add things to my cart when I don't know how much they are?

I need to set up a shopping cart only because all of the prices vary. My client wants folks to browse a catalog and add items to a shopping cart that can then be emailed to someone who will call back with a quote. I need to incorporate this functionality into a Joomla! site. There is a bridge call Cartage that will allow me to bring Zen Cart into my Joomla! site.

I have discovered that there are no extensions approximating this in Joomla!, and Virtuemart appears to have decomposed (sigh). If my coding skills were higher I would add a cart to YOOtheme's ZOO catalogue system (it is very pretty).

On the Quote system ... this can be customized to turn a Zen Cart shop into a Quote system in the concept of:

Customer adds to cart all these products that show no prices and then the checkout would work with a Quote Payment Module of sorts to get through the checkout ... then you call and complete the order over the phone ...

If the whole cart is setup as a Quote Only shop, this is easier to write than if you want to do both selling and Quoting ...

If you want to do selling and quoting and the actual payment/shipping that gets into another large amount of coding ...

But, if you want your whole shop to be just a Quote method, while it does take some customized coding it is not an impossible task, by any means ...
