    Default Custom configuration help

    Hi all,

    I have just installed version - v1.3.9h.

never used Zen Cart before so I could do with some help, or pointing in the right direction please...

I have created a website that the client now wants shopping cart functionality adding to, but they only have 3 products...so having a full store is pointless...

    So my question is...

Is there a way to add just the cart functionality to the existing HTML site?

Ideally I would need a button under each product "add to cart" / "buy now" etc... a cart so they could view the collective items...
and I'd need to be able to style them to fit the site...

the site is www.hottogs.co.uk ... if you view the products page...you will have a better understanding of what I mean.

I am new to PHP so be gentle
    Any help would be great!!

    Thanks

No, Zencart isn't intended to be a back-end cart script for an existing website. My personal view is that your client needs to look a little deeper into the future. Three products now, maybe a thousand in the future, at which point Zencart's categorizing and stock-tracking functions will be really handy.

My advice to them/you would be to go ahead and create a Zencart site to replace the current one. If they want it to look like the current site, thats doable.

Better yet, they could upgrade the look of the site at least a bit, as it now looks like an amateur project from 1999, not a professional commercial site. If the owners are experienced in their product field as they seem to be, they ought to have a site that reflects that.
